METHODS OF IMPLANTOLOGY
Educational aids devised by Dr. Antonella Tani Botticelli in collaboration with Dr. Antonio Renzi and dr. Daniele Botticelli
The Guide for use in the dental office, and the handout Booklet constitute valid aids in explaining to patients the necessity of implant therapy, and the various prosthetic solutions on implants that are available.

The Guide (SEE PREVIEW) consists of a holder that contains 7 plastic coated inserts, each of which illustrates a type of prosthetic solution on implants.
Ample space has been given to two and three dimensional photos and drawings that illustrate clear clinical examples. The amount of text has been purposely limited, since the Guide is intended exclusively as a means of support when conversing with the patient. In fact, with the aid of this instrument, the operator can easily help the patient understand the type of prosthesis that is suggested, and the hygiene procedures and maintenance that it requires
A handout booklet for the patient has also been devised (SEE PREVIEW) in order to continue motivation and instruction at home. This booklet contains the same illustrations and photos that appear in the Guide to be used in the dental office, but, in the booklet, they are accompanied by a detailed text that explains each prosthesis and the hygiene procedures required to keep it clean. The patient can consult this booklet each time doubts or uncertainties arise, or when he wants to look at the prosthesis that has been suggested and review the hygiene procedures that are appropriate for his specific case.
